Quick and Easy Kids Mando Helmet
Jennifer Belgin

A few years ago my boys decided that they HAD to be Mandalorians the day before we attened the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade. With about 8 hours to pull it all together, I grabbed a pair of skateboard helmets and padding, visor replacements, and whipped up a quick design on my vinyl cutter.  Here's the pattern if you'd like to do something similar for your ad'ika!

My first video woohooo! My apologies for the watermark but I had experience with Camtasia and they offered a free trial. Sadly, I didn't realize i'd be forced to add that. Premiere Pro and livestreams are in the near future, though!

Ombre Paint Effect Tutorial
Jennifer Belgin

After circling the design block for the last three or four years, I finally settled on a color scheme and design for my custom Mandalorian. Coupled with a rare few moments to work on something for myself while waiting on commission materials, I figured I should take advantage and get this baby done, and so I did! Well, mostly anyway. Jennifer Belgin

A substantial number of my canon builds are Death Watch so I wanted to start putting the details in a location that was more accessible to me and others wanting to work on their kits. There are numerous ways to trim and install visors but this is my preferred method.   It all starts with your given helmet. Now, I know some people that install the visor at the beginning of their build and then mask it off to protect it from paint, but to me it seems like an awful...

A few months ago I took on a commission to complete a helmet based on Jango Fett from Ian Doescher's The Clone Army Attacketh. Rather than a standard range finder, this jaunty knave has literally placed a feather in his cap, so I ordered feathers for the first time today. Whenever I work with a new item I like to gather a bit of information about it, 1) Because I'm kind of obsessed with learning new things, and 2) I feel it gives me a better understanding of how to use it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there...
