In a world where imagery rules social media it's not surprising that quality photos can have a huge impact on product sales or the reach of your item share. I personally have seen a substantial impact on my daily site visits and sales when I combine interesting photos with the right hashtags. So today's challenge is to practice doing some "product photos" for something you've made. Think about lighting, backgrounds, text, and anything else you may need to add to make something buyable or shareable.
I don't have the means to hire a professional or use a professional camera to do this. Although I'd jump at the chance, instead I take all of my photos on my phone and use Photogrid and Photodirector to edit before I drop them into Instagram.
