A few years ago a friend came to me with a request to make the instrument for his Bith costume as this wasn't the kind of thing your average costume shop had available. To date, it's one of the weirdest and most fun builds I've done and it's made entirely of things not meant for these purposes.
Perhaps this will help people understand why I have multiple bins of weird odds and ends that I can't make myself throw away! I think the most fun, honestly, was wandering through Home Depot looking for just the right thing, and continually being asked if I needed help. It reminded me a bit of that scene from Parks and Recreation. So for today's challenge, make something nifty out of random things you have available!
